Aboriginals may need to forget the euro-left; Canada's euro-left continually makes all the mistakes all other activists learned from decades ago. Today, however, we actually have usable psychological and social knowledge (proved by fMRI) to give a model of (not so much what but) who to avoid, but it will be a while to implement this in Canada, as Canada is far behind. For the time being stick to your own. I am creating a work page to attempt to suss this entire mess, but it should suffice to say that I have been banned from every "occupy-type" facebook group for applying critical inquiry -- no free speech on Canada's left, and it has spread to the US, unfortunately. Canada needs lots of work, and Aboriginals are probably smart to keep to their own until the defectives on the left can get knocked-out. There are many proved and clever strategies for doing just this thing.

I am motivated by a recent example (aren't we all) in which I am silenced and expelled from a NB shale activist group for "critical inquiry" which the censor made clear makes me a troll -- a telling word, but not the biggest issue in my opinion.

The most important issue, I think, is that this so-called activist says his most important goal is to "avoid a lawsuit" (his words). If he knew anything at all about activism in the new world, the he would know the best, and often only, weapon is common law, which are judicial decisions that reverse the government's decision. Canada cannot be helped by these people, only be hurt. Oust them asap, and until then connect with care, and above all, keep testing those around you to see where they will fail you.

Hi John. I may have to delete the thread on Darren. I agree with you and I am prepared to make a statement about the issue. The trouble with Darren is that he draws others into the same tactics of personal attack. I've had to treat him as a troll elsewhere. However, you might summarize the issue re: the logging, particularly as it relates to government regulations on natural resources, monitoring and enforcing, etc... Okay. And I appreciate you might also raise the aboriginal question. My job is to avoid lawsuit and keep the more shy members of the group engaged. Personal attacks drives them away. I learned this in the 5 months we fought to save NB Power. So do you want to delete and start a new thread, or do you leave it to me, Roy and Sterling? The point is I want you to present the issue and the hell with Darren. He saps our energies.

I disagree with any form of censorship under any circumstances by anyone, including myself. Further, I think that Darren's material is important to show that the problem is "personal" in the sense that it is rapidly declining human thought abilities. Censorship is the creation of the very Roman Empire that set our own economies in stone -- by censoring you are assuring that the Roman Empire continues to control us from the grave. That puts you on the other team -- you need to think about this.

Darren can't speak here and knows that. So he hasn't asked. He can read you here and he will make hay of it elsewhere. The only cure for him is silence. In other words, if someone is invited to dinner and they insist on bring food which contains nuts or whatever might send someone into shock or deaththey are not invited back to eat. That is no censorship. It is good manners at least and moral responsibility at best. You are letting Darren speak where he is not invited. So he is besting you.

I just read your material more carefully and found the term "troll" -- this is bad, as the term is usually used to attack anyone who against an apparent (but isolated) majority group, even if that person started the thread or article is being attacked. I am going to have to repeat, quite loudly now, that you ave "multiple issues" wrt to information. Darren is clearly dangerous (and gets kicked out) but represents a dangerous community and his text is what makes him valuable.  Calling someone a troll is the most absolute form of bias -- it means attacking their personal beliefs usually in absence of other identifying material.

I can see why NB is having so many difficulties if the activists cannot even get free speech straights.

BTW, for transparency, every bit of this material, and its resultant actions, is extremely valuable for me to describe root socio-psychological problems -- that is why humanity is going belly up.

what you are doing is simple, you are "rationally reducing" this means is that you want to control through censorship (because you lack the important mental constructs necessary for noral human collaboration) -- to achieve this, you have cooperated with 10,000 others who seek the same to create a fraudulent poll

beyond this, I am getting posts in "occupy critical inquiry" from a friend of yours who is attempting obvious "control the therapist" tricks, he revealed himself to be "bigoted and concrete" which is a personality disorder according to the psychiatrists

in closing -- you people are far behind the US, you can't handle one rinky-dink backwoods English colony, when we, in NYC, consistently fight the biggest financial structure in human history -- and we know why we lose, and a good example is what you are attempting to do to me right now, which is why I created "occupy critical inquiry," to deal with this specific information problem

I've not ordered an analyst and I doubt Darren did. Had I would not expect my case to be discussed in public. I thought we need to be on the same page re: Trolls.  I worked with Darren for five months in the management of a facebook of 30,800 by the time we activists won the fight. Good luck with your battles. I can't help you. I'm too busy.
